She serves as the student council president and is a brilliant, beautiful, and virtuous young woman; kind-hearted and widely respected, she is known as the "Saint of the Academy." She possesses the "power" of healing and functions as a recovery unit, though she also acquires powerful offensive capabilities as she levels up. Her destined star is "Yata," and she possesses the "Bodhisattva Eye," an ability that allows her to perceive the flow of dragon veins.
In the anime adaptation, her appearance was altered to give her a cuter look, and a backstory was added revealing that she—like Reiji Sagano—is an alumnus of Kakura Junior High. Additionally, while she wore a ring in the original work, she wields a naginata in battle in the anime.
As a side note, she harbors an instinctive aversion toward Sayo Hirasaka, another character in the series.
